Ann M. Madden, Esq.
Ann M. Madden, Esq., is a Cherry Hill based trial attorney with over 25 years of litigation experience.
She is the founding partner of Madden & Tufano, LLC, established in 2003, and The Madden Law Group. Ann has the privilege of working every day to rebuild the lives of her clients who have been seriously injured in automobile, slip and fall, and workers’ compensation accidents. Ann oversees all stages of litigation, from intake to trial, and manages municipal court defense, real estate transactions, and business planning while also supervising the day-to-day operations of her law firm. She is credited with establishing precedential case law in the New Jersey Appellate Division which helps injured workers throughout the State by enabling them to collect temporary disability benefits from an employer while at the same time also collecting social security disability benefits.
Ann is routinely featured in the SJ Magazine Top Attorney listing, and she received the SJ Magazine Women in Power Award in 2018. She is deeply committed to her community, serving on the Cherry Hill Planning Board since 2020 and previously on the Zoning Board. Ann was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a volunteer on the District IV Ethics Committee, where she served for twelve (12) years protecting members of the public from the misconduct of attorneys. She also holds several volunteer community leadership positions. Most notably, she serves as the Vice-Chair and Fundraising Chair on the Board of Directors of the Volunteer Up Legal Clinic, a non- profit organization that provides free legal services to those in need in South Jersey.
Additionally, Ann has served as the President of the Christ the King Regional School Board since 2019.
Her passion for service and helping those most in need has also driven Ann to become an integral part of the Cherry Hill Side by Side Program as a volunteer member of the Domestic Violence Response Team, which provides free counseling to victims of domestic violence. Her community involvement extends to various civic and professional organizations, including South Jersey Women in Business, the Camden County Bar Association, and the New Jersey Association for Justice. Ann also served for many years on the Fox Hollow Swim Club Board of Directors and as Secretary of the Holy Eucharist Church Finance Council. Ann brings excellence, integrity, compassion, leadership, and a deep sense of service, along with her positive, can-do attitude, to all of her endeavors.
Ann earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Widener University in 1998 and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, with a Minor in Business Administration and a concentration in Public Policy from Elizabethtown College in 1995. She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, the District Court of New Jersey, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
